Guest terms.

These terms apply when you open a Komos event page (komos.ca), generally after scanning a QR code or opening a link sent by the organizer ("host"). By sending a photo, a video or a message, or by using the gallery, you accept them, together with the privacy policy.

Guests do not have a Komos account and have nothing to install. The host has separate terms of use.

You remain the holder of the rights in your photos, videos and messages. Komos does not become the owner of them and does not use them for advertising or to train a facial recognition AI model.

By sending content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence free of charge, solely to provide the Service for the event: to host the file, to display it in the gallery and on the live wall to the people who have the link, to allow the host to hide it, delete it or, if the host has paid, export it as an original (ZIP), and to have it processed by our technical providers. This licence ends when the content is removed from the Service, subject to temporary backup copies.

You declare that you have the right to send what you transmit (including copyright and, where applicable, the consent of identifiable people), and that the content is not prohibited. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must have authorized the upload.

Do not send illegal content, sexual exploitation of minors, intimate images without consent, hate, threats, harassment, or files designed to harm the Service. The host may hide or delete a media item. We may do so as well in the event of abuse. To report content: info@komos.ca.

Your media are intended for the host and the people to whom the host gave the QR or the link (gallery, live wall, export). This is not a publicly indexed album, but it is not a vault either: anyone who has the link may, depending on the host's settings, view or send. Share only what you accept leaving with the organizer.

The Service is provided as is. An outage or maintenance may occur. Komos is not a party to disputes between you and the host. To the extent permitted by law, our liability toward a guest is limited, where applicable, to direct damages caused by our fault, excluding indirect damages.

You may leave an email. It is never required in order to send a photo. If you check the consent box, Komos may write to you for promotional purposes (offers and news). You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us at info@komos.ca.

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, subject to mandatory consumer rights. Questions: info@komos.ca.
